Given talks on religious and spiritual subjects and on personalities such as Paramahamsa, Swami Vivekananda, Bharathi, Ramana MahaRishi and the Sage of Kanchi              ( organized by Krishna Sweets as a series called Maha periava Mahimai on every Anusham during 2008 )

  • As President of Vanavil, conducting 3-Day Annual festival Of Bharathi at Bharathiyar Illam , Chennai, for the past 12 years and giving Bharathi Award to achievers from different fields. The recipients over the years include DK Pattammal, Abdul Kalam ji, TN Seshan , MS Swaminathan , Ganapathy Stapathi, Jayakanthan, Vaaali and many prominent personalities.

  • Written songs sung by SP Balasubramanian, Chitra,KJ Yesudas  and Rajkumar Bharathi for AIR and DD,Chennai.

  • Conducted “Tamil Isai Payanam”- a mega Tamil Isai function during 2002 supported by Rotary Club.

  • Written more than 20 Dance Dramas presented by dancers which include Chitra Visveswaran, Anita Ratnam, Urmila Satyanarayana, Revathy Ramachandran –music composed by stalwarts like Lalgudi Sri GJayaraman, Dr Rajaram, and L.Krishnan.

  • Presenting Quiz  ,Science and literary programs for Madras Doordarshan from 1978 onwards. For AIR from 1973 onwards. Presented more than 300 programs for the media in the last 25years.

  • Received awards – Kavimamani(1987),Thirupugazh Mamani (1999)Bharathi Award by DAWN ( 2001)

  • In the  Music Season(2008)at Chennai Padma Sri Meenakshi Chitaranjan has presented “Panchanubhavam”  and Gayathri Balagurunathan  presented “Ainkaran” Dance Dramas written by me. “Asokavanam”-Dance drama  I wrote was premiered at Melbourne, Australia, during Feb, 2009, has a fusion theme of Science and literature.

  • Wrote “ Enrenrum Pothigai” – Dance Drama for the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of Door Darshan, Chennai ,music by Ramesh Vinayagam and Choreography by Radhika Surajit. Presented on the 18th of September 2009

  •  Two dance drama projects on the subject of Anjaneya and Andal.completed in 2010.

  • Every year chairing and conducting  as Naduvar  special “Patti Manram” on a topic of Music for “Rasika Fine Arts”, Chennai during the Music Season , for the last 3 years.

  • Presnting Programs for Viswa Hindu –Internet Television- www.vhtv.com with Neyveli Santhanagopalan on topics related to Hindu Tradition and Culture.
